Demonology lore effects 11/03/2016 12:08 AM CDT
I still wish we could get a better spell than 719, what it is now sucks imo. Its only usable on 1/3 of the creature population... I really wish that we had a setup spell that could infuse mana into creatures. Maybe that could be say a demon lore effect for say 702 and 705. It would make demonology more combat effective and have give me a reason to have a demon out.

You gesture at a frost giant.
CS: +539 - TD: +142 + CvA: +19 + d100: +18 == +434
Warding failed!
Massive internal disruption for 182 points of damage!
... 30 points of damage!
Major bones in the frost giant's right arm crack loudly!
The frost giant is stunned!
<A blue thread of light extends from your <demon> and latches on to the frost giant infusing him with mana.
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

Something along those lines would be awesome and make demonology more combat effective.

In places where you're fighting things that 719 doesnt work well on have you tried 711 and following up with 702 705? I found in most places creatures(squares) that 719 is weak vs the 711 702 705 combo is just as mana effective most of the time.

I personally think 719 is good as is. But I wouldn't be sad to see the old 719 come back.

Oh, I don't have problems with squares and semis, I just want to use the spell more. Its supposed to be (I think) our most potent warding spell but it only works on casters effectively. In my opinion it was nerfed WAY to hard. I was merely trying to offer a suggestion that had multiple benefits as far as combat. I thought that giving a combat use for demonolgy and making 719 more useful would kill two birds with one stone.
