A greater construct raises its massive foot and attempts to smash you!
AS: +441 vs DS: +893 with AvD: +42 + d100 roll: +53 = -357
A clean miss.
The shimmering gold aura surrounding the greater construct flickers momentarily.
Roundtime: 3 sec.

Rt from a reactive spell affect? I'm not surprised that the construct deflects it, but giving me 3 seconds of hard RT when the spell gives 0 RT in all other circumstances doesn't make sense.

the construct didn't deflect it. i'm not a gm but i think i know why they'll say it's 'working as intended'

Yes, I'm guessing that'll be their answer as well... though I strongly disagree with it.

The hard RT is its own thing, I'm pretty certain that even spells cast under Rapid Fire induce it.

This could become very annoying. The best way to argue for its removal would be to see if other reactive spells have a similar RT penalty. Wall of Thorns comes to mind. Being constantly put into 3 seconds of hard RT by Constructs is some sort of psuedo force-on-force penalty that I doubt was intended in the spell's initial design.
