I want a Ranger who can lay traps for foes based on skill level. For example, a Ranger without much skill but possessing the spell would be able to cast a net, spike trap, poison dart, what-have-you. A higher end version of the trap could be stored spells, major damage, stuns, disorientation, fire, acid, etc., submission/surrender - you can see the potential and doesn't it only make sense? A true forester would be able to create lots of traps as a sailor would be able to create various knots.
