"Fudux" Mutiple Attack With Threshold 07/11/2017 12:01 PM CDT

Monks only can gain the skill with combinations of Brawling, CM and PT to activate a second strike without added RT. This would be possible once the Monk is past a certain skill level, much like redux and would be as often as a flare for elemental blade, average flare rate. Imagine at 50 ranks of each plus being level 50 is a threshold = 200 for the first double-strike capability to apply. every 15% or whatever of their strikes will automatically flare (probably not grapples but punch kick). I would see jabs as being distinctly more likely to flare for more strikes because they are designed to be fast and set up for another blow already. At a combination of 300 ranks for each, a possible but not automatic third strike will be possible. For example, a 50% chance of a third strike after the first flare which goes up each next Tier of activation (i.e. a 400 would raise 10% the odds for the third strike). And up the chain to the highest skill level possible.

This is cool because it gives Monks a powerful attribute to stand out from the other professions who have UAF 'on the side' or Voln Fu. Also it's really character driven because Bruce Lee, all these crazy fast Kung Fu warriors in movies. Also Monks are very disciplined and Ki focused so heating up in a battle with all that skill would make it possible because they're going up to the next level. A flare for a Monk who is way over cap and maxes all their skills out for the multiplicity might get fairly low odds for the quintuple punch of kick combo but doubles and triples fairly often. The five being possible (not working out any math here on caps).

Fudux!
