How about a window for announcements in the front end? I'm talking about game wide announcements, like merchants, the game shutting down, etc. There are often times I'm running around and completely miss the fact that the game is going to shut down in a second or a merchant has come on. This way there is no excuse, I could have my announcements in their own little window and if anything shows up I'd wanna pay attention.
