Cman Concepts: Area Specialization, ParryIntelligence, BossTactics 03/11/2017 02:02 AM CST

Area Specialization gives the Ambusher the choice to specialize in hitting a certain area of the body. For example, a very popular choice could be LEFT LEG and HEAD. Up to 2 body areas can be ASpec'd with Bonuses applied to each attempt at the body in any focused attack. The bonus will apply to being able to strike the area successfully and to a percentage based rise in critical. 3 Ranks each. When used with WSpec and Cmastery, other related Ambush and Weapon bonuses, the CMan is designed to add a hidden bonus for each (say +1 to whatever, a minimal rise).

Parry Intelligence gives the ambusher the chance to learn the moves of the TARGET each time they fail an ambush to a block or parry. So if they fail to find an opening or are parried, the next time they will have a reduced chance of the same thing happening and if it's a "fail to find..." then a decrease to RT. Also they will with enough training in it be given a chance for a 'break' in the defenses of the critter, giving the ambusher an unaimed 'wild' strike with a slight AS reduction (for the off-balance and makeshift attempt). For example, Rank 1 20% increase after 1 fail attempt+10% each failure after, Rank 2 30% increase after 1 fail+10% each fail after Rank 3 40%+10% each fail after Rank 4 50% +10% each fail after Rank 5 Same numbers but gives the 10% running chance to break the defense which stacks up to 30% after three+ attempts. -1 RT per Rank for a 'failed..' attempt.

BossTactics gives you a choice when you are facing a Grizzled or other overmatched foe. If you miss enough, are parried enough but nick them enough (many minors, small bleeder, etc.) after a fairly long battle, you will be given a chance to use your frustration and experience with the critter to create a strong, focused attack. The attack will do its best to give a temporary advantage rather than cause immediate damage. So the built-up frustration and focus of energy manifests in a furious attempt to beat them back and lower their defenses. Expending a huge amount of energy to do some frenetic techniques to assail and disrupt the domination of the beast, they suffer a DS loss and are much less likely to parry or block for the next 30 seconds. Example, Rank 1 -5 to their DS 10% decrease to parry/evade up to -25 DS and -50% chance to block/evade/parry
