Something that, I think, would be a great blessing for cobbling would be to upgrade the tanners.

two parts, firstly, decrease the wait time for tanning. 14 days for a high quality upper? REALLY? It's a bit much. Especially when I get someone who is all "halp! halp! it's 5 days until valentines day and I gotta get my speshul man some vruul skin boots! do you have that?"

secondly, expand what can be tanned. I have tons of neat cobbling ideas, but then I go skin me some random critters and they are no good. For example: chimera stinger, ghoul finger, ghoul nail, skeletal warhorse jaw, werebear paw, ghoul scraping, mummy's shroud, dirge skin, myklian scales... any scalps. I have MY OWN scalp from a krolvin invasion that would make some rockin sandals, thank you very much.

If not allow these other random fun things to be uppers.. then perhaps, at least, adornments/trim?
