Wasn't sure where else to put this so here it is. I an disappointed in the lack of useable alteration nouns for bows. Longbow has a couple and composite and shortbow have none as far as I can find. So, this is a two part post. First, I welcome any ideas anyone has for alternate nouns. Second, I would ask that a GM please take some of these under consideration for QC approval.

I have one idea already for "composite bow". A cavalry bow. My reasoning is relevant. Not just any bow can be fired from a mount. Longbows are actually huge and not practical for such. On the other hand, the composite bow was very specifically made famous by the mongols who fired them from horseback. The design allows for more compact size while not giving up too much power and that is exactly why they used them.

More ideas? Lets spice these things up.
