Is overtraining only beneficial when you hit 50+ ranks? 07/12/2013 12:35 AM CDT

I've got 40 ranks armor and plan on brig for life. I think the extra 10 ranks help out, but I don't think overtraining really helps until you get over 50 ranks. How does 10 ranks overtraining help a ranger in brig?

Ten extra ranks wouldn't do anything for you, the over training benefits is all or nothing, so you'd need 77 ranks in armor, and not worth it.

That is, of course, if you're not planning on using any of the armor skills that some professions have access to.

The OP stated they were a ranger, so it wouldn't help them since rangers don't have access to armor skills.
