published recipe seems to be wrong.

The iron cauldron is currently lit. So far, you've added clear dye base and 5 doses of mashed flaeshorn berry, simmered it, added 3 doses of gold dust, and boiled it.

Failed. Has anyone successfully made this? Possible someone purposefully added incorrect information, also possible perhaps the recipe is bugged?

Where did you get your gold dust? Was it the gem kind?

Purchased from the wizard guild store.

>alchemy examine dust
You examine the gold dust, but note nothing odd about it. It appears to be pinch of gold dust.

I tried it again... it seemed weird this time:

The iron cauldron is currently lit. So far, you've added clear dye base and 5 doses of mashed flaeshorn berry, simmered it, added pinch of gold dust and 2 doses of gold dust, and boiled it.

Why list two types of dust differently? I must have had one type of dust from the treasure system, one from the guild store. That would appear to be the issue. Except, I'm pretty sure 100% of my gold dust pinches came from the wizard guild store. Unless doing "Alchemy examine" changed the gold dust.

I just grabbed another dust from my sack:

>alchemy examin dust
You examine the gold dust, noting its unique characteristics and features.
You determine that it is similar to gold dust in alchemical properties and application, and would likely make a suitable replacement in a recipe.

That message is now different from before. Curiouser and curiouser.

These failures are getting expensive, did it again, I examined each piece of dust prior to adding it. It would seem to be correct.

With a sigh, you empty the cauldron of its failed concoction.

The animated cauldrons will stop you if you are trying to place an incorrect ingredient into the cauldron. Let me know if you would like to give it a try using one of those.

The formula requires treasure system gem-type gold dust that alchemy examines as "pinch of gold dust", not wizard guild gold dust that alchemy examines as "gold dust".
