Mikalmas asks, "Shall we?"

House Cleric Mikalmas's group just went through some carved stone doors.

*[Sphere and Scythe, Cave Garden]*
*Enormous stalactites droop from the high ceilings in this massive oval room. The stalactites have been carved and adorned with various forms of glowing lichens, mushrooms, toadstools, and crystals that lend light to this dark expanse. The surrounding walls flicker with life as cave moss and glowing lichen cast varying patterns of light across the room in hues of white to green. Carved into the stone walls are a line of benches. A detailed plaque is mounted high above the carved stone doors. You also see a grey-dyed satin raffle table with some stuff on it and a silver-dyed silk raffle table with some stuff on it.*
Obvious exits: north, east, west, out

Mikalmas says, "Welcome to the Cave Garden."

Iseo exclaims, "Oh how lovely!"

(OOC) Mikalmas's player whispers to the group, "This area is a supernode, for those who like to rest away from town."

Jaggery hoarsely says, "Oh very nice."

Mikalmas says, "Please notice the doors."

*Two massive stone doors are set into the wall of the wide cliffside. Each of the carved doors are smooth and highly polished with imposing crystal inlaid silver handles. The left door is inset with moss agate-inlaid feathery swirls surrounding an imbedded silver scythe. Detailed in the center of the right door are alexandrite-inlaid paintbrushes circling a smooth crystal sphere.*

Mikalmas says, "The plaque is dedicated to kind benefactors who helped make this possible."

*In the Common language, it reads:*
*To our most generous benefactors: The Sphere and Scythe would like to recognize Barble, Rendena, Faylonie, and Katara for their outstanding contributions to make this humble sanctuary possible.*

Rioja smiles at Mikalmas.

Iseo says, "Last minute touches. Always the best."

Havitaja asks, "Will the Order have membership as other houses do?"

Mikalmas says, "We are a Meeting Hall Organization. You can be in a House and still join an MHO."

Havitaja says, "I see."

Mikalmas says, "They are not exclusive like the Cooperative Houses are."

Mikalmas says, "Pay note to the stalactites that give the room its light."

Mikalmas points at some enormous stalactites.

*Three massive stalactites hang perfectly centered high above the floor below. Various shelves and recesses have been carved into the stalactites to hold strategically placed forms of glowing mushrooms, toadstools, lichens, and magic crystals. While each is dim individually, all combined the various forms of plants and minerals provide an impressive amount of light to the surroundings.*

Rioja says, "Nice touch, the lichens."

Mikalmas walks over to the bench and settles down.

Mikalmas says, "You can rest here as well."

*Multiple benches designed to hold various size groups from two to ten have been deeply carved into the surrounding perimeter walls of this underground garden. Each bench has been cushioned with soft pillows in shades of black, white, and grey, creating an inviting environment for reflection.*

Mikalmas says, "West, North or East? First answer gets to choose."

Jaggery hoarsely exclaims, "West!"

Mikalmas says, "West it is."

*[Sphere and Scythe, Seer Hall]*
*Various statues stand in alcoves lining the smooth walls of this round room. Eviscerating knives, decks of tarot cards, pouches of sand, and various bowls are carefully nested in the outstretched hands of stone seers representing all the races of Elanthia. Each statue has been masterfully carved from a single piece of various types of marble and stone. A large round table sits in the center of the room surrounded by plush high back chairs.*
Obvious exits: north, east, south

Mikalmas says, "This is our Seer hall."

Mikalmas says, "The table is quite exquisititely crafted."

*This massive round table fills most of the interior of the room it occupies. Multiple sections of wood have been expertly fitted together in a seamless wheel of perfectly proportioned triangles. Woods have been collected from all corners of Elanith, representing the home lands of each of the seers and their respective races, leaving additional triangular pieces displayed in lined alcoves surrounding the walls.*

Mikalmas says, "The Chairs are very special as well."

Rovvigen seats himself upon an empty chair, settling into the soft velvet padding.

*Padded high-backed chairs surround the massive table centered in the room. Each chair has luxurious velvet padding. Curved armrests and claw-feet are carved of wood that matches the section of the table each chair sits in front of. The chairs show signs of frequent use, but remain in pristine condition.*

Zaneon softly says, "Remarkable."

Balley softly says, "I get to do my readings here."

Mikalmas exclaims, "Next we go south!"

*[Sphere and Scythe, Vision Room]*
*A massive silver-framed mirror dominates the southern wall of this small cozy room, the reflections across its surface twisting and writhing into smoke-like forms. A large pillow is centered in the middle of the room, sized to accommodate a single person and placed directly in front of a small knee-high table. Cushions are casually placed around the room to be easily moved for comfort and conversation.*
Obvious exits: north

Mikalmas says, "The Vision room."

Balley softly says, "Fortunetelling."

Mikalmas says, "Be sure to look at the table, its quite unique."

Balley softly says, "Another new favorite place of mine."

*The sturdy legs and frame of this squat table are crafted from haon and tanik. The highly polished, yet worn surface of the table is inlaid with various gemstones of moss agate, malachite, alexandrite, and lapis lazuli. The four gemstones seem to swirl in mesmerizing patterns of light and dark as the design unfolds upon the surface. Shifts in the ambient lighting of the room disrupt the allure of chaotic patterns, casting a new image when glanced at once again.*

Mikalmas says, "The pillow is reserved for the Seer. The Cushions is for everyone."

(Mikalmas and his group go North Twice)

*[Sphere and Scythe, Memoriam]*
*This perfectly square room expands into the depths of the stone walls that surround it. In the northern apex a recessed alcove is positioned above two folded wings cradling a perfectly formed crystal sphere. Engraved above the alcove in detailed script are the words, "With undying love, we commit you to memory." Three massive tapestries line the remaining walls. You also see a small pink box filled with soft linen handkerchiefs.*
Obvious exits: south

Mikalmas says, "North of the Seer hall is my favorite. The Memoriam."

Mikalmas says, "The Tapestries are my favorite work. Please be sure to LOOK at them, each of them."

Mikalmas says, "There is a future painted, a present painted and a past painted."

Mikalmas says, "I'll give you a minute to observe them all."

Rovvigen softly says, "They each depict the Sphere and Scythe's motto."

Rivienne says, "They are lovely, such craftsmanship."

*You see some tapestries. Looking at the tapestries, you see a past-painted tapestry, a present-painted tapestry and a future-painted tapestry.*

*This large tapestry centers on a cloud of multicolored debris and dust, all spinning along a single axis. The tapestry depicts the possible moment of creation, perhaps THE moment caught in a cycle of vibrant inks. The unwound spiral depicts a blur of images: massive drakes, towering Arkati, and younger races budding into existence as they unfold almost imperceptibly with the movements of the fabric.*
*There appears to be something written on it.*

*In the Common language, it reads:*
*"To Preserve the Past"*

*This moderately sized tapestry shows the gates of the city Wehnimer's Landing. A great deal of adventurers are gathered in front of the gates, fighting various hordes of living and undead as they approach the town's perimeter. The gates themselves have been knocked down and are burning wildly. Wizards, sorcerers, and clerics sling spells while warriors and rogues demonstrate martial prowess against unending hordes of orcs, goblin, undead, Krolvin, and other enemies too numerous to make out.*
*There appears to be something written on it.*

*In the Common language, it reads:*
*"To Protect the Present"*

*Standing in peculiar contrast with the modern Elanthian night sky, this tapestry depicts only three moons. Liabo, Lornon, and Tilaok display prominently in the center of the tapestry. Makiri is simply missing, a trail of red smoke streaking toward Elanthia where the small moon should be. Lornon and Liabo loom dangerously close to each other as if locked in a dangerous ballet of light and dark, drawing closer and closer to each other in a dance that tempts the fate of all life on Elanthia.*
*There appears to be something written on it.*

*In the Common language, it reads:*
*"To Predict the Future"*

Rioja says, "Ties together very well."

(OOC) Rovvigen's player whispers to the group, "You can also get box."

Mikalmas points at a recessed alcove.

Havitaja gently pulls a soft linen handkerchief from the box and dabs the corners of her eyes, wiping away her tears before discreetly disposing of the cloth.

Luxelle asks, "The buiding is not open to the public, correct?"

Rovvigen softly says, "The building is all open to the public every room."
Rovvigen smiles.

Mikalmas says, "Much like the old stone table outside, the alcove is a place to leave memorials. Please know they are offered up permanently. If you put something there, you cannot retrieve it."

Mikalmas says, "This is a place for ALL Elanthians. And so long as we breathe, it will always be so."

Luxelle says, "I may ... need to book this room."

Mikalmas reverently places his emerald into the depths of the recessed alcove, the object disappearing with a gust of cool wind and the sound of splashing water.

Mikalmas says, "If you have something of little value to offer, you may place it in the alcove as an offering to someone loved and missed."

Balley softly says, "We welcome everyone."

Mikalmas says, "Just know it will be gone when you offer it."

Havitaja quietly says, "Not gone. I know where it is. And I always will."

(OOC) Rovvigen's player whispers to the group, "Also want to point out familiars and ranger pets are welcome here as well."

Mikalmas says, "This place will henceforth always be available to anyone, at any time. The entire structure as of this night, with the Patrons' blessing, is available to all. For groups, for quiet contemplation. For whatever the need may be."

Mikalmas asks, "Are we ready to proceed?"

(Mikalmas and his group proceed South, East, then finally North)

Luxelle says, "This is breathtakingly inspriational. The Sphere and Scythe did a tremendous job. Congratulations."

Mikalmas says, "Next is the Moon Room."

*[Sphere and Scythe, Moon Room]*
*An expansive dome looms above the space, the curved ceiling reflecting the Winter Constellations marked by glowing green glimaerstones and thin veins of glowing lichen. Makiri and Tilaok are set in close orbit around Liabo, whose bright glow provides ample lighting for the room below. A smaller, yet quite substantial Lornon looms darkly in the stone sky above. A reclining padded circular bench sits in the center of the room allowing visitors to gaze up at the dome above.*
Obvious exits: east, south, west

Mikalmas says, "Be sure to look at each of the moons."

Mikalmas says, "And if you want a closer look, be sure to sit on the bench."

Mikalmas settles himself upon a padded cushion of the circular bench, leaning back slightly to give himself a better view of the dome above.

*Makiri is by far the tiniest of all the objects in the night sky of this room. It is dwarfed by Liabo which it orbits. Compact and irregularly shaped, the small moon is strangely smooth and very dark. Much like the real Makiri in the Elanthian sky, it is difficult to make out any details from this distance in the room.*

*Carefully selected fire opals of varying hues of red and orange are intricately inlaid across the surface of this small moon that orbits Liabo in the domed sky above. Light from Liabo filters across the replica's surface, bringing to life the ribbons of red and orange that ripple through the gemstones.*

*A brilliant white moon, noticeably the largest feature in the room, hangs in the sky of the dome above. Carved from a single piece of ivory, the surface of Liabo is intricately carved with easily discernible craters and valleys on its glowing surface. Tilaok and Makiri dance timidly in orbit of this demanding celestial orb, barely more than specks to their host's prominent body. In the celestial scene above, Tilaok is prominently displayed against the stark white background of Liabo.*

*Gazing into the distance of the dome far beyond the orbit of Liabo, you see a smaller but still prominently displayed moon hanging in the sky. While the surface of the replica above is vague and nondescript, it seems to be captured in here in a hue of blood red reminiscent of Eorgaen the 31st, known in the common world as Lornon's Eve. The surface of the moon is cold and dark, shrouded in mysterious hues of swirling crimson.*

Mikalmas says, "Ok, moving west."

*[Sphere and Scythe, Gosaena Hall]*
*Luxurious panels of grey and white flyrsilk completely line the walls of this small sanctuary. A massive scythe-shaped chandelier hangs directly over a statue of Gosaena that is positioned in the center of the room. Feathered white candles adorn the perimeter of the chandelier, casting a soft glow throughout the room. A small grey altar painted with a white feather is carefully placed just in front of the statue. A padded white flyrsilk prayer rug sits at the altar.*
Obvious exits: east

Mikalmas says, "This is the Gosaena Hall."

Mikalmas points at a small grey altar.

Luxelle exclaims, "This place is huge!"

Mikalmas says, "Take a look at the altar, as well as the statue."

*Beautiful and ethereal, the statue of Gosaena gazes out with serene impartiality. Peeking out beneath the hem of her grey cloak are a pair of brilliant white wings. Held firmly in her right hand and pulled against her chest is a long-bladed sickle, the curve of which follows the contours of her right shoulder. This sculpture is carefully painted to portray a beautiful woman with pale skin, long silver hair, and ice blue eyes. She is clad in long grey robes that pool on the floor at the statue's base.*

*Meticulously painted in greyscale, two mighty forces face off on the surface of the altar before the statue of Gosaena. The bright sword of Liabo blazes toward a dark and shrouded shield of Lornon. Between the two, a nebulous fog of heavy grey buffers the opposing forces.*

Mikalmas says, "You can kneel on the rug to offer proper prayers."

Whiskyjack prepares himself for spiritual communion as he moves to his knees in the center of the flyrsilk prayer rug.

Mikalmas asks, "Everyone ready?"

Whiskyjack quietly says, "This is home for me."

(Mikalmas and his group head east and east)

*[Sphere and Scythe, Jastev Hall]*
*Luxurious panels of black and grey flyrsilk completely line the walls of this small sanctuary. A massive crystal sphere-shaped chandelier hangs directly over a statue of Jastev that is positioned in the center of the room. Multiple small black candles inside the chandelier cast dancing patterns of light throughout the room. A small grey altar painted with a black artist's brush is carefully placed just in front of the statue. A padded black flyrsilk prayer rug sits at the altar.*
Obvious exits: west

Mikalmas says, "Jastev hall. Again look at Jastev, and the altar."

Rovvigen prepares himself for spiritual communion as he moves to his knees in the center of the flyrsilk prayer rug.

*The carved depiction of a stooped and elderly man has long hair and dons flowing robes. The natural dusky grey hue of the inner wood has been exposed to provide hue to the hair, each strand carved in detail as it cascades down his back and over his shoulders. Where the robes puddle at his aged feet, a half moon of argent moonstone is set into the base of the figurine, its surface reflective much like water.*

*A small convex dome of alexandrite sits in front of Jastev's statue. The surface of the platform rises gently in a half sphere above the polished lapis lazuli surface of the altar.*

Mikalmas asks, "Everyone ready for the final three rooms in the east wing?"

(Mikalmas and his group go west, south, then east)

*[Sphere and Scythe, Sentinels]*
*This sparsely decorated room is obviously designed with a martial theme. Standing at the western archway of the hall are two sentinels guarding the entry, both clad in full plate armor with adornments and regalia representing Gosaena and Jastev. The walls are lined with weapon racks which contain nearly every common type of weapon. The floor itself is completely covered in padded, well-cured leather. Four training mannequins are set in recessed alcoves in each corner of the room.*
Obvious exits: north, south, west

Mikalmas says, "Opposite the Seer hall, the Sentinel Hall."

Mikalmas says, "Look at the mannequins if you will. We will name them soon."

Mikalmas says, "The Sentinals are also rather interesting to look at."

*Four training mannequins have been set up in each corner of this combat-oriented room. Two of the mannequins appear to be armed with shields and weapons, obviously designed for melee combat. The mannequins are scuffed and dented from combat drills too numerous to count. The remaining two mannequins are adorned with various magical wards and protections, obviously designed for spellcaster practice.*

*A pair of carved sentinels stand guard at either side of the western arch. The female sentinel is honoring Gosaena with a white feathered cloak, her piercing gaze from under her hood framed by long flowing silver hair and sapphire blue eyes. She is also wielding a scythe held firmly at her chest, her jeweled eyes watching those coming and going. A second, more reserved and older male sentinel adorns the other wall, a black paintbrush in one hand and a crystal sphere in the other.*

Jaggery hoarsely asks, "Can we practice our waggles on them?"

Speaking to Jaggery, Mikalmas says, "That's the idea."

Mikalmas says, "Now, we go north."

*[Sphere and Scythe, Archive Hall]*
*Walls fitted with sturdy oak shelves, scroll tubes, and glass-paned display cabinets line the perimeter of this rectangular room. An arched entry looms to the south, while a bas-relief of Fash'lo'nae and Lumnis face off against each other in the northern wall, engaged in a spirited debate. Positioned directly in front of the carving is a gem-inlaid Elanthian globe. Long tables and chairs line the center of the room, offering ample space for scholars and historians to conduct their research.*
Obvious exits: south

Mikalmas says, "My third "most favorite" room."

Mikalmas exclaims, "Here you will find shelves with divination and fortunes for your taking. Come if you seek guidance and no Seer is available, but choose wisely!"

Mikalmas points at a sturdy oak shelf.

Mikalmas points at a metal-cast scroll tube.

Mikalmas says, "The tubes will be stocked with random scrolls we find. If they are here, they're free for the taking."

*A series of shelves line the east wall of this expansive hall from floor to ceiling. Each shelf is labeled in a series of numeric identifiers designed to assist hallkeepers with organizing the information in this vast library. A neatly inked note reads: "Take a blessing, leave one. These shelves are dedicated to the free exchange of stories, knowledge, and compliments among all those who find themselves here."*

*A segmented square of multiple scroll tubes in alternating metals of platinum, gold, silver, copper, and bronze crown the display cases on which they rest. Cheaper metals line the larger tubes of the bottom rows, while precious metals are used on the smaller upper rows, reserved for the most valuable scrolls. Despite the varying sizes of the tubes, they fit together like an interlocked puzzle to form a perfect square.*

*A large cabinet with heavy wooden doors dominates the lower half of the west wall it occupies. The doors are carved with great precision, displaying multiple items used in various forms of divination across the races of Elanthia. While the collection is too expansive to take full note, a number of rare and prized items are displayed prominently in front, including crystals, scrying masks, and vision rock baskets.*

Mikalmas says, "We encourage everyone to leave parchments on the shelves. Stories, knowledge, compliments, fortunes. Please feel free to come any time and grab a parchment or leave one if you feel inspiration."

Mikalmas says, "We hope this shelf will serve multiple purposes."

Mikalmas says, "And there are six fortunes on the shelves now for anyone who wishes one."

Mikalmas says, "Otherwise, if you find inspiration for a message for someone else, please feel free to write it out and leave it on the shelves here."

Mikalmas says, "As we said before, this humble home is open to all, and will always remain so."

Mikalmas says, "And the globe, its quite exquisitely crafted."

*An expansive globe of Elanthia sits before the bas-relief. The globe is intricately detailed in various inlays of precious and semi-precious stones and metals. Specific attention is paid to the continent of Elanith, which appears to have territories inlaid with gems specific to the races that inhabit the different geographical areas of this small corner of the planet.*

Mikalmas says, "Then we move on to the final room on the tour."

(Mikalmas and his group proceed South and South to final room of the tour)

*[Sphere and Scythe, The Prophet]*
*Music and laughter filter throughout the pub which is lit by glowing crystal globes hanging from the ceiling. Leather club chairs and small cafe tables ring a stage to the south. Behind the stage is a large curtain with the embroidered image of a smiling Cholen. An expansive polished mahogany bar is centered in the room. Above the bar is a silver-gilded mirror that reflects distorted, comical images of nearby patrons. A clown face dart board hangs on the pockmarked west wall. You also see a polished spittoon set at the corner of the pub.*
Obvious exits: north

Rovvigen softly says, "This is the Prophet's Pub."

Luxelle says, "My."

Mikalmas exclaims, "Welcome to The Prophetic Pub!"

Mikalmas exclaims, "A dart board!"

Rovvigen softly says, "Many food and drink options here."

Ramkalef pours himself a shot of Kazunel sour mash whiskey.

Zaneon beams happily at a green pickled egg on a polished mahogany bar!

Mikalmas says, "The spitoon is for trash."

Mikalmas grins.

Zaneon raises his pickled egg skyward!

Rovvigen softly says, "The drinks be warned will leave you crawling out of here if you drink to many."

Soliere pours herself a frosted mug of Cholen's Laughing lager.

Zaneon softly says, "Tasty eggs."

Mikalmas says, "This pub mostly thanks to our founding member and benefactor, Barble."

*On the mahogany bar:*
*Food/Drink [12]: a green pickled egg, a spicy velnalin sausage stick, a smoked gouda cheese wedge, a wheat biscuit with tomato jam, some anchovy-stuffed green olives, some salmon-topped toast topped with caper sauce, a frosted mug of Cholen's Laughing lager, a tankard of Orc Bane grog, a shot of Kazunel sour mash whiskey, a pint of extra-hopped Halfling ale, a Trollfang gin cocktail, a tall glass of chilled milk
Total items: 12*

*You see a classical dart board numbered one through twenty, with two special score rings and a standard two ring bull's eye.*

Jaggery hoarsely says, "Well congrats to you all. It is a beautiful building. I must be heading up North."

Mikalmas says, "We will head back to the Ocean View now and Rovvi will gate everyone back to North Gate that don't know where they are."

Mikalmas grins.

Mikalmas exclaims, "Don't forget, TIERS and raffles tomorrow night!"

Speaking to Rovvigen, Rivienne asks, "May I sprinke some salt? A tradition to keep any ill wishes from going through the entry?"

Rioja recites:
"To this grand new home, one built for all
we'll all see to it that it never falls"

Speaking softly to Rivienne, Rovvigen says, "Wed be honor."

Rivienne drops a tiny pinch of salt.

Rivienne exclaims, "Thank you so much for the lovely tour!"
