Always keep your eyes open!
As Scribe of the Black Wolves, our Chairman, Akivas, asked me to release this amazing discovery to all members:

After all the fighting and destruction around the Landing in recent months it seemed a good idea to have the manor inspected for structural damage. Some of the quakes in particular occurred very close to our grounds. During the inspection a large crack was discovered in our auditorium. We hadn't noticed it because it was covered by the large tapestry behind the dais. Thinking it best to probe as deeply as possible and see how extensive the damage might be rather than repair the obvious and risk more troubles down the road, I joined a couple of the workmen to make our way into the crack. To say we were surprised to find a ladder leading down through a hole in the floor of the gap behind the crack is putting it mildly. Once down the ladder, we discovered a magic workshop, apparently abandoned many years ago. After putting the bits of information together that we could glean from old records and rumors from some of the Landing's older inhabitants, it seems that what we discovered is the original foundation from the first home of the Wolves when they first came to town. The structure was not as formal as what we have now, but it was where they gathered and rested from the rigors of the days hunting and working.
