(OOC: First, thank you all for being patient with me. I recently bought a house, new job role and quite a bit of hectic things around the end of the year so much of my activity for the Chalice tapered off in response to that.)

For those of you unfamiliar with what we are: we are a performance-based MHO located in Solhaven. We serve food and refreshments (often themed) to the event, which we spend time in Elanthia finding the perfect tantalizing tastes for your palate. Some of our events have games or door prizes - but our goal is to entertain.

We are also interested in giving Elanthia's performers and Bardfest contestants the opportunity and venue to dust off some old songs and stories and perform with us all year round. We're quite flexible and are happy to accommodate availability and coordinate with your House or MHO as well.

For 2017 our events were:

January	Began advertising - we'll do this every Jan forward
February	Wine and Chocolate Decadence (wine and chocolate pairing)
March	Variety Show/Amateur Night (miscellaneous performances)
April	Festival of Lights (candles and fireworks)
May	Carnival of Colors (dance performances/fire breathing)
June	Ocean's Tide (performance of the play: Depths of Aberdeen)
July	Fire Fantasy (fire dancing & co-op with Sphere and Scythe for fortunes told)
August	Depths of Aberdeen (reprise of our play)
August (also)	Participation in Craft Bazaar (sold our extra fireworks from Festival of Lights)
September	Dwarven Beer Festival (Beer and bacon tastings, and Dwarven trivia)
October	our zombie run was canceled and due to circumstances, the Chalice took a quarterly break.
November	break
December	break

Some of our events this past year were well attended - so we hope to perform them again next year. Breaks are not dedicated, I just don't have an event planned at this time.

We were announced as Tier 2 in June, and should be qualified for Tier 3 at this time. Thus, our objective for next Dec/Jan is to earn a building. Until then, most of our performances take place on Solhaven's Celebration Barge.


Our membership is small but dedicated. If you are interested in being a member, you must actively assist in at least two events either as a 'stage-hand' or a performer.
