We have a compressed campaign season compared to how the last one felt, but there's still time to put together an event related to the mayoral election for MHOs and CHEs that want to do it. There will, of course, be some official (that is, Kenstrom-led) debates at some point, but part of the fun last year was the number of less formal events that took place.

For any MHOs and CHEs that want to host a campaign-oriented shindig, it's an outstanding way to get credit for a well-attended event and participate in Landing politics. It's also a good way to get to know all the candidates and their views. I'm available in the later evenings just about every night and will be happy to help in any way I can. Meet-and-greet parties, moderated debates, pit fights, trivia contests -- there are a lot of possibilities here, and last year's events made the campaign a great deal of fun, if a little hectic.
