If you don't know anything about speech verbs and tone verbs, in short, they allow you to speak with more UMPH! For example, instead of:
Roxe exclaims, "I don't know where the rum went!"
...you could use...
Roxe woefully keens, "I don't know where the rum went!"
...or...
Roxe agitatedly vents, "I don't know where the rum went!"
...or...
Roxe hushedly shares, "I don't know where the rum went!"
etc.
