As nearly as I can make out from perusing my old time sheets, I started in GemStone either the second week (6-10) of September, or the fourth week (20-24) of September, 1993.
So: twenty five years. Half my life (turned 50 earlier this month).

About the only other thing of equally prominent statistic is Philmont hiking. The first thirteen years don't even count (cannot attend until age 14); at age 39 (so, 25 years of "possible") I had hiked 10 times; 40%.
