I was tasked by the adventurer's guild to dispatch some mezics in the area, 13 would be suffice.

I go out to kill some. It's kind of a dicey area with tree spirits and shades that can ward me or cast earthen fury, so I'm constantly on the move out there with my warrior.

I killed 2 and now just needed to get 11 more.

I come across one and a pra'eda in the same room, so I begin to do my stuff and right before the mezic drops dead from blood loss, it runs to the next room and immediately drop dead. Upon the mezic leaving the room and then dying in another room, I never earned credit for kill in it.

The path turns sharply here to the northeast and the southeast. A single, tall oak stands to the east, rising up into the canopy of trees and out of sight. Trickling water can also be heard to the east. You also see a pra'eda and a mezic.

Many fallen trees nearly block the path here, slowing progress to a crawl. The roots of the fallen trees stand tall above the fog off the path to either side. Despite the felled trees, no sunlight penetrates this place. A hill to the east looks to be climbable. You also see a mezic that appears dead.

I had Slashing Strikes active from using Weapon Flurry on the mezic before this one, so major bleed was applied to this mezic. As he was almost dead, he ran out of the room and the last tick of major bleed caused him to die just after he ran out of the room and I was never awarded credit for kill it. I hunt solo and no other people were in the area at the time. You can see from my clip above what became of the mezic and notice that I never had the [You have X kills remaining.] message pop up on my screen and I was still sitting at 11 mezics to go, even though I had killed this one.

Just wanted to put this out there for you NIR folks to look at and hopefully fix. Sometimes you get these bounties and the creatures you have to kill don't spawn much, so missing out on a kill because a creature runs out of the room and drops dead on you kind of sucks.

They originally had the same issue with pets (Bardic Dancing Weapons & Ranger Companions & probably Sorcerer Animates) that could be involved with combat.
They just need to make the same kind of update to include "a direct weapon swing/spellcast that you did" (which were there originally), "pets that you control" (which got added eventually), and now "persistent effects that you generated (Feats, Techniques)" (like RotFlares, and "anything from update 3 of the Maneuver system such as Major Bleeds").
