For those who aren't aware, Elanthian Vogue is an IC magazine made up of many components, such as fashion, beauty, lifestyle, culture, and "runway". The aim of the publication is to raise awareness of, and encourage participation in, fashion-oriented activities across Elanthia. The first edition was launched back in Lormesta, 5118 and I usually aim to publish a new edition every 4-6 weeks.
It's not just for "fashionistas"! For example, this month's edition includes an interview with the Landing's infamous Land Pirate, Maylan, and a look at popular watering holes, as chosen by our readers. All editions can be found on the wiki at https://gswiki.play.net/Elanthian_Vogue
Feedback, suggestions, and articles for future editions are also welcome and contributors will receive full credit and a prize bag of goodies if their article is published. That said, after a fun discussion on discord, I’ve decided to try and put together a new supplement at the end of the month called Exposed! Basically, it will be a gossip magazine and I’m looking for contributions from players! If it's successful, it could become a regular feature.
Given that EV is essentially a high end glossy, I don’t want this to become controversial or an outlet for conflicts. If you wish to submit an article about an actual PC (or group), you will need to seek their agreement first, and I will check! Ideally, I think it would be more fun to use the existing NPCs that can be found in the towns etc. and this would help to enrich our gaming environment a little more.
