The House of Paupers is returning to an old tradition of letting the members design our ornament for the annual CHE Solstice Tree!

Design submissions will be accepted through 11:59pm ET on Friday, October 30 via email to HouseOfPaupers @ gmail.com; make sure your character name is included with the submission. The entries will then be presented to Paupers members to vote on via in-game HOUSE VOTE through Monday, November 9. If more than 7 entries are received by email or PM, the Paupers Officers will determine which designs to present for the members to vote on.

The same character/player may submit multiple designs.

Besides having your design immortalized in an ornament hung from this year's CHE Solstice Tree, the winner will also receive a cash prize of 500k. The second and third place designers will also receive cash prizes.

Ornament designs should capture the spirit of the House of Paupers, and must be some type of ornament-like thing that can be hung from an evergreen tree. Designs must also confirm to rules and guidelines set out via ALTER. The House of Paupers Officers reserve the right to make minor edits to design submissions to ensure that they fall within the ALTER rules and guidelines.

The overall winners will be announced at the ceremony. If you're referring to which design your own House submitted to the judges, Paupers chose:

a triple-chalice ornament

Show: Suspended from deep blue velvet ribbons, three etched crystal chalices hang upside-down from their stem bases. Tiny chiseled tear drops of burgundy garnet drip from the bowls of the goblets, tinkling softly with the slightest movement. Sparkling silver script winds its way up the ribbon and reads "House of Paupers-Merry Solstice 5115."
