This AUGUST, the House of the Argent Aspis will be hosting the 24th Annual Bardfest celebration!

Aspis' longstanding annual celebration of Elanthian culture and creativity will run from 8/14 - 8/16 & Finals will be on 8/22. All aspiring performers are encouraged to pre-register to ensure that you get a coveted performance slot in Elanthia’s oldest festival.

Everyone is a bard at heart - Share your performance art at Bardfest this year! Our Grand Prize will be 10 million silvers, and the winner's name will be inscribed for all time on the Bardfest Trophy on display in the Wehnimer's Landing museum, alongside all our illustrious and talented past winners. Runners-up will receive comparable sums, and all attendees are ensured several evenings of the best entertainment Elanthia has to offer!

The House of Paupers is joining the celebrations once again by contracting with a skilled tailor to visit Wehnimer's Landing on Saturday, August 17th, and hosting the 4th Annual Topsy-Turvy Masque on Sunday, August 18th. Prizes will be awarded for the best mask, the best cross-dressed costuming, the best dancing, and for a few mystery categories as well!

House of Paupers hosts Merchant Services

In preparation of the Topsy-Turvy Masque and Bardfest Finals, the House of Paupers will host an hour of merchant work. Masks will be available to be worked on, or attendees may have clothing or jewelry altered for the Masque or their Bardfest performance. (Please help our merchant work for as many people as possible by having your idea ready in advance.)

House of Paupers' 4th Annual Topsy-Turvy Masque
Sun, August 18, 10:00pm – 11:30pm
Ebonstone Manor, Ballroom
Celebrate Bardfest and the spirit of Cholen with a little cross-dressing! Ladies, it's time to enjoy a Masque in the comfort of pants and boots, while Lords are invited to show off their dancing skills in skirts and heels. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed lords-in-ladies'-clothing, best dressed ladies-in-lords'-clothing, best mask, and most entertaining dancing.

Look for portals in the CHE locker annexes around Elanthia as well as on the lawn of Ebonstone Manor (located off of North Ring Road in the Landing).

Argent Aspis--

The raffle is for "... a battered black oak sea chest! Argent Aspis presents a raffle supporting the 24th Annual Bardfest! Try your luck for a chance at a sea-chest of gear fit for a great warrior, including somewhat crit padded full plate, a forged and weighted spear, and a zesty veil iron shield. Winner need not be present at raffle drawing but should be awake somewhere. An Aspis officer will contact you for pickup.".
The tickets sell for 50,000 silvers each.

House of Paupers--

The raffle is for "... a polished ash tambourine woven with red and gold ribbons in a cordovan leather instrument case with a gold chalice toggle! Winner does not need to be present, but should seek out a Paupers officer to collect their prize.".
