Claidhmore Raffle Redux 06/16/2011 07:25 PM CDT
A jangling warrior in chain mail strides in, glancing intently about. He plants his hands on his hips and bellows stentorianly, "Unhappy with your wet noodle swords and chippy handaxes? Ye're in luck, for Helden Hall is raffling off a one o' a kind ora claidhmore! Find the raffle in front o' the great House, on the Landing's North Ring Road! The raffle opens Day o' the Huntress on the seventeenth o' Lumnea (Friday, June 17th, 2011), and the winner will be chosen at 8 P.M. by the Imperial reckoning on Restday, the nineteenth of Lumnea!" (Sunday, June 19th, 2011) He nods in satisfaction, turns around, and jangles off.

Alright, here we go again! We've got a +10 claidh to raffle off for 100k per ticket. It has been max lightened with a Vaalorian alter:

a gold-inlaid dusky red ora claidhmore

The sinuous form of a rampant golden wyvern is laid into the dark red ora of the claidhmore's massive blade near the guard, though its tail coils and twists over halfway to the tip. The angled quillions of the huge sword are vaned and scalloped like the spread leathern wings of a great wyrm. On the opposite side of the blade, a line of elegant, slanted script is picked out in flattened gold wire.
There appears to be something written on it.

Nope, can't read it because it's in elven!

This time we'll have this go off without a hitch. Be in the Landing for the drawing and buy a ticket any time between Friday night and Sunday night. Thanks!

In the Elven language, it reads:
Battle bravely, Wyrm of Vaalor
