Expertise Points for TP Skills 08/04/2022 08:39 PM CDT
Example is Stalking and Hiding. We have great uses for it with Combat Maneuvers. What I feel it is missing is way to make use of the expertise gained in a tailored way. If we make every 5 ranks of certain skills then we can entertain a system of choice for honing some of the skill into a useful one for their character specifically.

With 10 points of EP for S/H (at 50 ranks) perhaps a skill becomes available which can help them hide in some circumstances such as: with animal life, with giants, with undead, magically sensitive and finally general overall. This gives the hiding adventurer a way to use their ranks creatively for a pathway which is not rigid.

In my opinion, with the disadvantages present after cap in terms of defending and overcoming much more leveled and powerful creatures in masses, there's not much we can do to become overpowered anymore. For S/H itself, some of the drudgery could be removed such as going to another room in order to hide without the animal or undead in the room, then sneaking back in for the hit.

Expertise Points is not a great name for the skills but the idea aint bad imo.
