Okay, I just came back to the game, and I am befuddled by the light armor mastery math. I've gone over and over the posts and the information on the Wiki, and it just is not making sense to me, specifically on the CvA part. So let me ask a straightforward question that I hope someone can answer for me:
I have three rogues. All of them are in 4X or 5X brig. All have either 30 or 35 ranks or armor, so they are trained for brig. Is getting light armor mastery going to do anything positive for them at all in terms of CvA? The way I am reading the information on the Wiki, the answer is no--in fact, it looks nearly useless for brig no matter how much armor training one has(a 2% max difference if trained for full plate?). But I would love to be wrong.
Thanks to anyone who can answer.

Your math is right. In terms of cva LAM offers almost no benefit. It narrows the cva gap the more towards light armor you go. Rank 2 would be of interest to you with its chance outright avoid spells or maneuvers. If you are a hidey rogue I don’t imagine you would get LAM until near cap with a preference towards armored stealth. If you are in the open and using evasion, I’d personally prefer to spend the 50 ranks for rank 2 LAM before learning armored evasion.
