For the second time now my morphing shield has stopped working. It turned from a bracer into a greatshield just fine, but now it just says "That would accomplish nothing." when I try to turn it back into a bracer.
It's getting old having to assist to get this shield fixed.... can someone please look at the script and fix whatever broke? It worked fine right up til a couple months ago...

Thank you, Kynlee, for fixing it so quickly.... hopefully for good so I don't have to bother you again!

Erg, it happened again.... worked fine morphing in both directions when I logged in (bracer to shield, then back again), but after hunting wouldn't morph at all. I'm starting to think it's something to do with the area I'm hunting in (the Keep in RR) or something the critters there are using on me that keeps breaking it...
Getting to the point where I'd just as soon have the morphing script removed in exchange for +5 to its enchant.... would beat having to put in an assist every time I log in...

Thanks again Kynlee! Derned old items with old, trouble causing scripts!
Someone give her a raise!

Old? Aren't these from the 2014 Ebon Gate?

The script isn't old, the shield dates back to just after shield sizes were released though. When I got it, it was just a 4x tower shield with a show.... thanks to luck at EG, it's now got spikes and the morphing script in it.
The problem seems to have stemmed from an obsolete subscript that was on it that enabled it to have the show. Since that subscript has now been removed (without having to sacrifice the show), we're hoping this problem won't rear it's ugly head again.

Ah, gotcha. And hopefully the change fixes it for you.
