Accessories and padding again 11/26/2019 05:59 PM CST
There appear to be some edge cases here that the wiki doesn't cover. Can anyone with more info correct the 3 result tables at bottom? I tried to include the info that Coase posted back in 2005, assuming it's still more or less current.

Let:
Person 1: Wearing 10 CER crit padded breastplate with 12 CER crit padded arm greaves
Person 2: Wearing 10 CER crit padded breastplate with 12 CER damage padded arm greaves
Person 3: Wearing 10 CER crit and 10 CER damage padded breastplate with 12 CER damage padded arm greaves
Person 4: Wearing 10 CER crit padded beastplate with regular arm greaves
Person 5: Wearing 10 CER crit padded beastplate with enhancive (but not padded) arm greaves
Person 6: Wearing regular breastplate with 10 CER crit padded arm greaves

--

Then:
1a. Hit to chest - 10 CER crit padded, plate divisor
2a. Hit to chest - 10 CER crit padded, plate divisor
3a. Hit to chest - 10 CER crit and 10 CER damage padded, plate divisor
4a. Hit to chest - 10 CER crit padded, plate divisor
5a. Hit to chest - 10 CER crit padded, plate divisor
6a. Hit to chest - 0 CER, plate divisor

1b. Hit to arms - 12 CER crit padded, plate divisor
2b. Hit to arms - 5 CER crit padded and 6 CER damage padded, plate divisor
3b. Hit to arms - 10 CER crit padded and 12 CER damage padded, plate divisor
4b. Hit to arms - 10 CER crit padded, plate divisor
5b. Hit to chest - 5 CER crit padded, plate divisor
6b. Hit to arms - 10 CER crit padded, plate divisor

1c. Hit to legs or head - 10 CER crit padded, chain divisor
2c. Hit to legs or head - 10 CER crit padded, chain divisor
3c. Hit to legs or head - 10 CER crit padded and 10 CER damage padded, chain divisor
4c. Hit to legs or head - 10 CER crit padded, chain divisor
5c. Hit to legs or head - 10 CER crit padded, chain divisor
6c. Hit to legs or head - 0 CER, chain divisor

Bump. My original post wasn't very straightforward. Can any of these be confirmed? Some of these are documented, but the things I'm looking at are:

Person 3 gets reduced padding from an armor accessory if wearing body armor with the same type of padding. (scenario 3a)

Person 1 gets full padding from an armor accessory if the hit is to the same part of the body as the accessory, even if body armor has the same type of padding. (scenario 1b)

Scenario 2b vs. Scenario 3b (and 2c vs. 3c). If wearing crit padded armor and damage padded accessory, both are halved. If the accessory overlaps either one, then both use the highest of the two. This seems to be an incentive for getting both crit and damage padding on body armor.
