Letter to Thadstone about Parlay 04/02/2022 04:48 AM CDT
After the meeting with Tyrrax, I came back to town to ponder over everything that had transpired. Once again our citizens
came together to try and reach a common goal. I cant be more proud of our citizens then right now. Picking up a nice glass
of Dhe'nar blood wine, I settled in for the long letter to our Mayor.

Dear Mayor,
I am writing this letter to inform you of what was discussed on the Black Sands with Tyrrax.
First I would like to point out that his demeanor was not aggressive in any way. Cautious yes, but
not aggressive.
I along with Lylia and several others feel he is being sincere in wanting the formula found and destroyed.
With that being said, he had a scholar with him, a young man from the Landing's own militia, his name was Rian Larson.
He is healthy and seems to be doing well enough. He looks forward to coming home to his wife Elizabeth whom Lylia
is going to write a letter to and let her know that her husband is doing ok and will hopefully be home soon.
In gist of the talks with Tyrrax, Pietra talked him into agreeing to free the scholar as long as we agree
to help him find and destroy the formula.
Vaemyr talked Tyrrax into agreeing that we can in one week parlay once again on the Sands and talk further once
you have decided to make a choice.
It was Lylia that reached out to the young scholar and spoke with him the most, I stayed to the side and allowed
our citizens to speak untill I was pointed as the one who is the one that can deliver a letter to you. I did tell him
that I can not make a final choice without first talking to you and the rest of the Councilors about what was discussed.
I know you are a bit upset at us Councilors, but implore you not to take it out on the rest of the town.
Consider helping Tyrrax find and destroy this formula. Our citizens are stepping up and doing what they feel is right.
He also mentioned something about writing in brass. We are confused as to what this may mean and are trying to talk
amongst ourselves to try and figure it out, but Stormyrain, Raelee, and others thought about the brass tower as a
possibility. He also said it can not be read without a special lens, that he had in his possession but would not
allow us to touch it. It was suggested by Earthdiver and Raelee to see if we could possibly duplicate the lens to
allow us to better find this letter that can only be read with a lens that captures moonlight.
On this note, I would like to add he did have a gem that did seem to capture moonlight, but I
can not recall if he mentioned the name of the gem. Also I want to add that he has hand pylons and stated he raided
Fortney's trove in Idolone. We know of only one person that deals in hand Pylons, so several of the citizens are
beginning to think Fortney was in league with Amos at some point in time. If this is fact it is unknown fact at this
time.
Should you decide to accept to help him in finding this formula and destroying it, please send a letter with your
written word as Mayor. He prefers written words as he claims the words of man can not be trusted as much as the
letters of man.
I will not keep you any longer as I am sure you have enough to think about at this time. I thank you for taking
the time to read this letter.
With well regards,
Councilor Chandrellia
