Word has traveled from the northern imperial provinces that Prelate Chaston Griffin has returned to the Barony of Talador after what he described as a very successful meeting of minds and faith with Baron Caulfield of Bourth. Upon the Prelate’s return to Talador he was greeted by throngs of cheering citizens, many who even wept at the sight of his homecoming. Seemingly impromptu, the Prelate paused among the crowded streets of Talador and led a mass prayer, calling upon Koar’s mercy and justice to bless his followers in the coming year, and to shine down his light that those who praise the Godking might better recognize any wolves deceptively hiding among the sheep.

Prelate Chaston’s return was accompanied by another announcement, that he had handpicked a young acolyte of Koar by the name of Disean Andrews to be reassigned to the Temple of Koar in Talador, where he would better study and serve the people of the city, under the tutelage of the Prelate himself.

Chaston spoke very highly of the young man, “It is throughout life and the history of our faith that devotion, while never the easiest of roads, can often reap the purest of benefits for such loyalty to our Godking. Many have recounted to me tales of Disean’s spark of faith, that even in his youth he has found such passion to learn more of the Church, and of Koar. No one has spoken more highly of him than Lord Ambrus, who may not be his father by blood, but has sacrificed much to lead this young man on a path to righteousness. It is with great honor, that the Temple of Koar in Talador welcomes such fervor into the fold.”

Despite the high praise, little is known of Disean, who is said to be the son of Sir Thadston Andrews who currently resides in the Northern Outpost near Wehnimer’s Landing. Some locals say that Disean was raised by his mother, Saraphene, and her husband Lord Ambrus, a Paladin of Koar on the outskirts of Talador.
