A visit to tree-elf land 04/09/2014 10:59 PM CDT
I have spent the last few days in your little country town. It has been a rustic occasion and I do look forward to future visits. My krolvin friend would also like to give thanks to the warm welcome durring our stay and says it's few and far between when a community is found that can see beyond the color of ones skin.

Sylvarraend is indeed a lovely place. I just need to point out that it is not sylvan in any way. It's just as "city elf" as Ta'Illistim.

correct, I think it literally translates to the end of silver, or silver end, meaning its the last of the towns in the shining city before entering the King of Vaalor's realm. BUT It is not a sylvan town for sure. Although it is a lovely hamlet an nice place to rest in relative quiet.

That is why when ye hear Clunk speak of Sylvarraend he pretty clearly calls it 'Silver-End', same reason he calls the Shining City of Ta'Illistim by the name 'Ill-Steam'.

Elven is not his first language.

Curious as I've got to ask: Is there any undead and what level are near this Sylph town? I've explored some at the temple but I didn't see anything undead, nor even at the old Dark Elf town. I'm only asking as I'm currently reworking the Voln steps for my paladin and it's a bit difficult to gain steps with a level 80 paladin just owning everything at the temple of luukos and bone spear.

I'm going to try the rift again though I know it's dangerious. The Landing's black forest is too much when alone (grouped the paladin rocks). Maybe I'm blind and missing something or I'm wandering around too much like a ranger and missing something?

Try Maaghara's Tower on Whistler's Pass, I believe the shricken are mid 70s undead.

Thank you. Not a bad place to hunt- though I didn't like the Ewave damaging the nerves of the poor paladin who was starting to get a bit cocky fighting there :D

It's a pretty town here, though I'm guessing it's slowly growing and maybe one day one can turn their premie cuffs to get to FWI or is it intended this way? It's a nice lil town though otherwise for a Sylph to relax while they are there for whatever reason may be. Maybe after all the things are done with Cross into Shadows, I might visit here more often since the Empire is getting on Falvicar's nerves religious wise.

Sylvarraend is indeed a nice little town. I liked to rest there when I was hunting in the area but wanted to be alone. Still, Sylvarraend has no connections at all with the sylvan peoples. Neither are sylphs, which are spirits of the air, and entirely different creatures.
