(cross post from landing folder)

[Isil Dae'gonn, Convergence]
A flickering portal and multiple arches, constructed of enormous stone slabs balanced atop equally mammoth stones, form a loose ring around a modest sized clearing. Encased within the arches are heavy wooden doors, each carved with a celestial symbol. The ground has been swept of all debris, revealing a detailed map carved in the seamless stone flooring. Between two vine-choked arches sits a low stone bench with a rumpled blanket underneath, and a half-hollowed log protrudes from the nearly impenetrable old growth forest surrounding the area. You also see a rough-cut stone barrel and a flat oblong rock with some stuff on it.
Also here: A tall, slender figure with features hidden by a deeply hooded, austere dark robe.
Obvious exits: None.

The figure helps himself to a large red apple.

The figure takes a bite of his red apple.

The figure pauses, gaze fixed on something distant and unseen.

Shadowy tendrils envelop the figure's austere dark robe, obscuring his form.

A grizzled dusky curhound growls menacingly from behind the bench!

The figure pushes at his austere dark robe, sliding his makeshift hood off from his head. The makeshift hood melds into the fabric as his robe settles into place.

Aurach inclines his ear, listening intently.

Aurach, apple still in his mouth reaches both hands down to the bottom edge of his Faendryl-style tabard, and with several quick downward adjustments, aligns it to perfect position.

Aurach slowly turns and faces South, the slightest arch of one eyebrow.

Aurach's gaze grows distant, fixed on something distant and unseen.

Aurach begins to respond, then removes the apple tossing it sightless towards and into the rough-stone barrel.

Aurach quietly says, "Indeed."

Aurach quietly whisper's to into the wind, "Yes, I sense you, all Honor and Glory the Patriarch."

Aurach nods slowly once and the breeze continues to stir near his ears for several minutes.

Aurach's eyes suddenly flash with a verdant glow.

Aurach quietly whispers into the wind, "Yes, a short summary of the foray into the Shadow valence"

Aurach whispers on the wind, "The portal was opened at the shifting cavern by the Tehir wandering shaman named Teuriz. The history vision cavern, as Xorus reminded those gathered. He stated,"There would be little sacrifice made, little needed to travel to the shadows. We would reach out to an echo. Of a battle fought here before, beneath the shadow, beneath the Reach. Time would be fleeting so we needed to find the boy and return, as we were not prepared for a longer stay. There would be no blood." Only wind and true river, for it never ends, and touches all.

Aurach whispers on the wind, He then said, "Rising, falling, reaching." He then glanced at Evia. Stating, "You were there... Then asked, "Against the golem of urnon?" Aside Geijon?" Evia nodded to him indicating she was. He then pointed down, frowned and stated that will do. He then moved to stand in front of Evia. Saying, "You still hold a remnant." while placing his hands on the sides of her face. His mouth moved, but only wind swirls about, like the faint whispering of a thousand voices.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "He then whispered something to himself... knelt, and then stood. He then placed his hand on Evia's forehead. Sat down, raised his hand and then stated, "Be still..." He was attempting to find the correct echo...."

Aurach whispers on the wind, As we waited, the air grew warm and ethereal lights drifting through the area like ghostly white smoke. Among the pale mist, images formed and shifted, first depicting a vast stretch of dunes swirling with sand, a small band of black-veiled tehir moving across them, and then next to a swath of a night sky as a bright green star falls.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "Shifting, the pale mist formed new images, first depicting a fleet of krolvin warships maneuvering through a network of jagged icy islands, and then next a cloud of ash erupting from a huge volcano as the sky above it goes dark.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "Among the pale mist, images formed and shifted yet again, first depicting a sky filled with ancient Drakes, their fiery breaths pouring out to burn a gnarled black Ur'Daemon that floats through the air like a giant squid, and then next an Ashrim ship gently floating on the waves as fires rage on the distant land.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "Shifting once more, now depicting an ancient battle of elven armies clashing with hordes of undead, and then next a sky filled with airships and stained the color of blood.

Aurach quiet whispers continue, slow and steady, attention to detail without elaboration.

Among the pale mist, images form and shift, first depicting a sky filled with ancient Drakes, their fiery breaths pouring out to burn a gnarled black Ur'Daemon that floats through the air like a giant squid, and then next an Ashrim ship gently floating on the waves as fires rage on the distant land.

Among the pale mist, images form and shift. A flash of red light heralds Walkar as he slams into Davard, striking with his waraxe, driving the man to the ground. They two armored men share strike after strike, as fires rage around them.

Among the pale mist, images form and shift. A Faendryl woman stands before a lake of liquid shadows, her feystone-hued eyes sparkling in the moonlight as blood red sigils circle around her head. The peak of Melgorehn's Reach rises behind her.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "Teuriz then said, "You must survive until you can discover the boy. Bring him back, nothing more."

Aurach whispers on the wind, "As you are aware, "Blade Aralyte was foremost on our kindreds agenda, the boys recovery a means to reaching news of her current status and see to her return.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "At last, A perfect black essence rose begins to wilt and the inky black essence petals curl in on themselves as it slowly fades. As the rose continued to grow unstable, it gave way and collapsed into a thin stream of essence that vanished into thin air.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "Sir Cryheart then led the group into a shimmering black silk curtain, and into the shadow realm.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "The Shadow Realm landscape stretched out in long lines and shadowed forms, all shades of grey and black accounted for as the horizon meets the fractured sky beyond. There were no clouds, only a firmament of bruised purples and obsidian greys that roil above like a tempest-churned sea.

Aurach whispers on the wind, 'We encountered the following creatures, shadowy primordial's, winged spindly necleriine's, shadowy black deathshades, swirling shadow golem's, blood-soaked black voidling's, amorphous dark oculoth's, leathery black shadow bat's, flickering shadow spectre's, slender shadowy voidwalker's, ebon-scaled void serpent's, all were dispatched with little effort and we continued on, until finding a pool.

Aurach whispers on the wind, At this point Lylia's soulstone began to glow with a brighter white light. This refers to Blade Aralyte's soulstone. The one that was drained to bring back Thadston. Lylia stated, "It felt warmer. Faint, though, not like when it was whole and red., I also heard her say, "It used to speak." It then, while in Lylia's hand began to glow stronger, casting a wide light on the sanguine pool. Within its depths, you could see a small boy, pools of shadows for eyes. There was another figure, obscured in darkness, beneath the child.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "Speaking in Faendryl, Lylia stated, "We had not forgotten! If the Blade was near" From within the sanguine liquid, "the boy rose closer to the surface near Bekke. Now visible, another set of hands, a woman's, held the boy's side as he was lifted closer. Bekke reached for the boy at pools edge. Shadows crept along the ground like the expanding black wings of a host of demons.

Aurach whispers on the wind, Emerging from the crimson pool, the Faendryl woman rose half-way out of the liquid. Rivulets of of the blood lake dripped down her bald head, and her eyes appeared like large pools of shadow flecked with feystone-hued light. 'Blade Aralyte' In her arms, she held the freckled boy with no eyes. She smiled, and lifted him to Bekke and was recovered. Then quickly ushered into the main group for protection.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "The ground trembled as rolling thunder resounds throughout the sky, it felt as if we were running out of time. I worked on leaning forward and tried to reach for Blade Aralyte. Many others aiding as well, she was held back by some force. Her flesh wass twisted with ribbons of shadow and coils of blood, her very body fused with the murk beneath. She only stared, watching as the boy wass freed.
She then lowered her gaze, succumbing once more to the pool of blood and shadow below.

Aurach whispers on the wind, "The boy was led away with the main group, kindred Lylia remained, with Miss Goblyn, Lisbethany body, Wolfloner, Mayor Cruxophim, kindred Alasatia, kindred Mystiq and myself. Lylia then marked the location of the pool should opportunity to return become available.

Aurach inclines his ear, listening intently.

Aurach whispers on the wind, 'Yes, I understand, you are aware of the evenings happenings within the landing and the Hendoran outpost. Very well.

Aurach whispers on the wind, 'All honor and glory the patriarch.

A grizzled dusky curhound stretches out and rolls over on his side sound asleep.

The emerald blazestar on Aurach's forehead sparkles brilliantly as an errant ray of light hits it.

Aurach helps himself to a large red apple.

Aurach takes a bite of his red apple.
