I have some concerns regarding security arrangements with our special gnome prisoners. At least on a public face, others have been content to be somewhat dismissive as to where these two got their funding... However, in private, the Drakes will make inquiries; their opposite number from the Nations will make inquiries; other interested parties may make inquiries. Eventually someone may get the idea that either we can't keep them contained, or want the prisoner(s) for themselves, or just plain decide 'they know too much'. That being said, we should think about contingency plans in case a kidnapping or assassination attempt is made.

Also: we may be able to contain these two, but the idea itself can't be killed - there were far too many witnesses to this mess to think this is simply going to go away. A response should be determined if a similar weapon (or weapons) are built again.

I therefore respectfully recommend taking this up with the Council at earliest convenience.
