Pathway Conserve Quest 01/03/2015 03:34 PM CST

I've rolled in some updates to this quest. The quest will no longer tell you how many critters you need to kill, but it should be very obvious when you are done.

Does this fix the issue where certain spells (e.g. Gar Zeng) didn't seem to register kills, or is that a separate issue?

I'm not aware of an issue with specific spells not registering kills. Is it just Gar Zeng? I can look into it, but it is definitely separate from this fix.

There's a couple of threads indicating spell issues, particularly with AoE ones, but this is the most recent that references Gar Zeng:

I personally didn't have a problem when I recently did the quest a few months ago, but I used Air Lash.

Ricinus and I did find an issue with any multi strike spell, and we have put out a fix for it. Any TM spell should work correctly now. Please let me know if you see any issues with this quest in the future.
