If you look far enough back in the warrior mage forums you will see YS was once on the list of spells to get reworked. Armor rank boosts are completely worthless after x many ranks, specially on armor tert. With the love for barriers, armor is so minor now anyways.

It would really be great if pathways could get updated. Summoning in general just seems extremely minor for a guild only skill. Perhaps we could get some more meta spells to boost what pathways actually do. Maybe quickness reduces TM targeting by half. Or maybe the damage pathway increases damage substantially, but then goes on cool down after a hit. It's a good system, but it just seems very bare bones. I believe most of the pathways don't offer much benefit if a spell is capped anyways. Better yet, perhaps the benefits of pathways increase with the warrior mage's summoning skill.

Finally, I know the chances are slim to none, but can ball lightning make a return? It was such a awesome spell and seems like it would fit in now that cyclic spells exist.

Last but no least we really need some sort of metal buff. The warrior mage guild has by far the least amount of stat buffs of any guild. Can buff a max of 3 stats at once. None of which are our primary stats. Magic prime guild with 0 mental buffs. This is really is a glaring hindrance when you get to end game. If sorcery wasn't a thing, it would be hard to even be competitive.
