An elemental ability where a mage can morph into a simple creature. The greater the mage, the bigger the type of creature they may become. Morphing would cause you to drop anything held in the hands but could be picked up in the morphed characters mouth. Battle would be with the natural weapons of the creature, so a wolf would get a bite attack and a bear would get a bite, paw, paw attack. Any wounds would heal to scars when the character converts back to their self so this could be a tactic to staunch bleeding.
