It would be neat if we could get a item at the Simucoin shop that works like the rat chalk, but on familiars. For example, used on the familiar it will add a 1st and 2nd adjective. Would be an interesting way to somewhat customize a familiar without encroaching to much on familiar alterations, since they would be somewhat basic in comparison.

This is a cool idea. There are also some interesting adjectives they might expose with this if they wanted to for more money. When I logged back in after a decade+ absence to the game, I noticed that all my old familiars took on the adjective of whatever element I was aligned to when I first summoned them. So I have a fire rat, an electricity falcon, a water turtle, etc. That might be a neat perk for those who haven't been lucky enough to get a familiar altered.
Personally, I feel much better about paying for fluff than I do paying for advantages, too.

Odd, I haven't made many familars yet, but the ones I did, were a Golden crow, 2 big dogs, and a golden falcon. So kinda seemed odd to me that the 2 flying fams were golden, while both dogs were big. At any rate it was kinda meh.

The base adjective you get for familiars are tied together. E.g. if you have a blonde guinea-pig then you'll also have a blonde gerbil. I think it's because the base adjectives are chosen for all of your familiars using the same invariable source, whether that be your character pin number or what not.

The whole water turtle, fire dog thing seems buggy, tbh.

It was buggy, but it did look neat.
There was talk what is now probably years ago of war mages being able to apply their adjectives to someone else's familiar.

You raise your hands in the air. You wave them like you just don't care. Somebody says, "Hey!" Somebody says, "Ho!" Somebody screams.
