If you do not know how to write a little macro to make CL and spells like it cast instantly then I don't even know what to say.

CL has no target time, and functionally has no prep time. It will have both of these things restored to it in Magic 3.0, but Combat 3.0 is taking the nerf bat to stealth and one-shot kills so it will probably even out.
