Arc Light just got easier 07/16/2015 07:08 PM CDT
I've just lowered the difficulty of Arc Light to Basic, since the Electricity book had no Basic spells in it. Thanks to Ricinus for the very fast QC. This is live in Prime and Plat. TF will follow given that nothing explodes.

After attempting and failing at finding a Warrior Mage that wasn't afk in game to give me the DISCERN for Arc Light, I'm bring the question here.

Could someone either paste the discern for the spell so I can make the necessary updates to prep and skill amounts on the wiki, or if up to it make the chanegs yourself?

I was able to track down this info and the wiki has been updated. It now has a mana range of 5 to 100 and effective skill range of 10 to 600, down from 15-100 and 80-800 respectively.

Neat! Nice change.

Could you guys possibly discuss allowing the spell to be cast back to back on the same target? You can't stack head wounds with it anymore so it's basically just a single-target stunner.

I heartily second this. After all, the standard rules of diminishing returns for stuns against PC's would still apply, and in a PvE situation the many AoE debilitation spells are more attractive. I think this would help this spell have a usage niche to exist in rather than "that spell I'm required to take".
