drop what you're doing!!! game ending stuff here...

in 2.0 we could gesture at a cloud we casted to unsummon it, as well as unsummon other's.
kind miss that, or at least being able to remove the ones' we make.

also if we could interact with it more... gaze, stare, point... you usually can't reach it

I think they're a bit more interactable than before maybe?

A tiny black cloud drifts upward a short distance before returning to its previous altitude.
(that new?)

> glanc cloud
You glance up at the black cloud.
I could not find what you were referring to.

This is ruining my life right now. Ruining it.

At least i have a little raincloud to express how I feel about it.

That's not as bad as not being able to fling yellow colored snowballs at people anymore.

It should be yellow in the winter, just when you make a waterball into a snowball becomes bland.

You gesture, and a glistening yellow water ball forms in your hand.

You drop your icy snowball. It hits the floor with a faint PIFF and flattens out from the impact, but somehow draws itself back into a spherical shape.

Will a colored snowball retain color if it's melted w/ burning touch? I remember researching this but forgot the results!

Also, I miss Gust of Wind so badly. I'm having my familiars cart off people's discarded embroidery needles!

What's the problem exactly with gust of wind and water globe?

J> prep cant g o w
You are now prepared to cast the Gust of Wind cantrip.
J> gest starlear
You gesture, and a colossal gust of wind swirls around you.
J>
You notice as an immense blue-eyed grey leopard snarls for a moment, then seems to calm down.
J> prep cant p h
You are now prepared to cast the Pattern Hues cantrip.
J> gest custom
You trace the complex sigils of the Pattern Hues cantrip around yourself.
The air around you becomes suffused with a harsh icy silver-blue glow.
Roundtime: 3 seconds.
JR> prep cant w g
You are now prepared to cast the Water Globe cantrip.
J>
J> gest starlear

You gesture, and a harsh icy silver-blue water ball forms in your hand.
J> prep cant c i
You are now prepared to cast the Crystallize Ice cantrip.
J> gest ball

You gesture at a harsh icy silver-blue water ball. Flecks of ice form inside the ball, growing outward until the water has crystallized entirely into an icy snowball.

Water globe's hue doesn't translate when it changes state; you can only make yellow snow in winter.

>J> prep cant g o w
>You are now prepared to cast the Gust of Wind cantrip.

Gack, this whole time I've been typing 'prep cant gust of wind' which doesn't work at all! I rejoice!

pattern hue also doesn't seem to be functioning properly with actual spells.

>>pattern hue also doesn't seem to be functioning properly with actual spells.

which ones?

A jagged black ethereal shield surrounds you. - it just doesn't show as colored in the room look anymore

I get the halo with FS and fireball too, and it colors my LB and CL.

It didn't really color that much before- ES, FOS, FRSC, LB, CL, FS, FB, and.. did it ever do IP? I forget. Air doesn't have a color, and can't mess with aether, the rest are are just kind of too quick to warrant the need of color I think, or didn't for whatever reason(MAB, DB). AEG is also a different kind of spell

the real question: Can you color geyser yellow? and if not, you should.

Hehe, yes that would be great. Maybe they looked at it. Last week my spells weren't changing colors. It would be nice to have the color back in the room look with ES.

:( no. But gee, I need to play with this spell more. It's neat:

>gest sparkling sunfire gold
You trace the complex sigils of the Pattern Hues cantrip around yourself.
The air around you becomes suffused with a sparkling sunfire gold glow.
Roundtime: 3 seconds.

{searching for boiled bacon...}
>target
You turn to face a musk hog.
You begin to weave mana lines into a target pattern around a musk hog.
>harn 20
You tap into the mana from twenty of the surrounding streams and attempt to keep it channeling in a stream around you.
Roundtime: 2 sec.
R>
The musk hog closes to pole weapon range on you!
>
The musk hog closes to melee range on you!
>cast
You gesture at a musk hog.
You contribute your harnessed streams to increase the pattern's potential.
You feel a connection to waters deep below you, and you manipulate them to surge upwards. A spout of steamy water erupts from the ground, sending bits of dirt through the air. You quickly divert the superheated water and steam toward a musk hog.
With a vicious roar, a massive gout of scalding water inundates a musk hog's chest, boiling away the outer layer of skin. The flayed chest oozes blood, its exposed tissue a mass of angry blisters.
The musk hog falls to the ground and lies still.
Roundtime: 1 sec.
>gawk

Your jaw drops.

Even if air normally lacks a colour, there are ways to add colorants to air. No reason "Warrior Mage nonsense" could not be one of them, if a coder had a mind to make it that way. The air warps red as it lashes, and such.
