It might be cool if Traders could hire other traders to keep their shops open more hours. The other trader would maybe get a cut of sales, maybe bring in one of their own surfaces? If you already have your own shop, your shop probably needs to be closed during hours you are managing someone else's.

I'm not sure how comparable this would be with how the system is built. There might also need to be some other consideration that discourages people just running a second, lower-level trader and pairing up with each other.
