While hunting I got the message

** You are in a room that our system cannot replace your
things in. Please move outside or to an area where you
can have your caravan replaced. **

So I wondered if I screwed up and didn't pay to stable my caravan. Nope, went to Crossing stables and was able to retrieve my caravan. So.....

I think this happens after a game crash, I was seeing it a lot around Hollow Eve with the frequent raffle crashes. If you move to a room where you could have a caravan it should go away.

Yes, this is messaging you get after a crash. There are special procedures that GMs have to do post-crash to make the caravan system happy again, and you may see some oddities while they are being run. It takes a bit for the process to be completed. Everything was finished being reset within an hour and a half-ish after we were back up last night.
