Aid and abet? (was Re: Dissapointed) 09/15/2005 02:13 PM CDT
<<<<again, thats an in-game limitation of the justice system. there is no way of accusing someone who aids and abets a crime.>>

And yet, much to my chagrin, I encountered this:

>>The council look down at you, then turn to the token Empath, who shakes his head and murmurs, "The stain of guilt is heavy on this woman's soul. I see no innocence here. It is a burden upon my shoulders, just to gaze upon her. Guilty. Guilty as charged with aiding and abetting a crime."<<

The traitor Empath turned on his own kind. Why? Close as I can figure: helping a pilferer escape the guards (whom found her, anyhow, through seemingly superhuman means).

You know, I'm not one for paranoia, but this isn't the first time a strange thing like that happened in Riverhaven... someone is watching me : P Go away!

Um, anyhow.

>I see no innocence here.

And you had us all fooled. For shame.

Moving stealthily, you manage to grab an origami-paper envelope right from underneath a sales clerk's very nose.
