The general development of sorcery and barriers has lead to a situation where MUs can stack a variety of damage defeating spells that essentially mitigate all the advantages that thieves have. Eliminate, for example, is largely mooted by MAF, Iron Constition, (insert many others that stack). I am completely fine with the stacking of those barriers, as most people that use them have access to dispel, ward break, rend, etc. Thieves don't have anything. Keep in mind that the alpha strikes for thieves already must be done from melee, and must survive Watch (Die watch).

It would be outstanding if Calm could be adjusted to act as a hybrid utility/debilitation khri. Aside from malediction, it's unclear what it's utility is at all right now. But, if we can use it offensively to dispel that would be awesome. Think of Ward Break but instead of magic barriers, it's physical barriers. Alternatively, allow eliminate to bypass magic physical barriers.
