Not sure if this is intentional but after extensive testing on difficult thefts I have been lead to believe that shoplifting has no positive effect on confidence levels after 30-45 minute stealing runs of mostly difficult targets. Is it possible to take a look at this and adjust if this is unintentional?

"Confidence is a Thief bonus that increases and decreases based on the success and failure of Thief-related activities. " Since thievery is our name sake it seems like our confidence should impact thievery and vis-versa.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen thievery affect confidence, even though it is supposed to. The system was half-done when released. If I had to guess, you are probably seeing confidence move from the stealth check from hiding on shop keepers and not from actually stealing. Either way, it has and still does need addressed. ;)
