I'm sure this question must have come up a lot in the past, but forgive my ignorance and still being pretty much a newbie when it comes to thiefly matters.

Anyway, my question: Is there any chance of slings or thrown weapons being permitted to be used for sniping, or something similar, in the foreseeable future?
