FIND suggestion 07/02/2014 07:58 PM CDT
So I'm going to start off by saying I might just be smokin' the crack rock too much and I'm remembering what I want instead of what actually was. So, um, sorry if that's the case?
(heh)

I thought I remembered years and years ago that when you did a FIND, if you weren't quite sure on the spelling, or if the character had a super long name you couldn't spell right, you could just do a shortened string. For example, instead of FIND KYTHRYN, you could FIND KYTH.

Today, you can still do the shortened string, but instead of bringing up all the names it finds that qualify (up to...9?...there was a limit, so you couldn't just do a FIND B and get all the "B" names), it'll only bring up the first name that qualifies.

Could we go back to/change it to have it return all the qualifying names? So if you did a FIND KYTH, it might return something like:
Brave Adventurer in the Realms:
Kythryn.
Kythrin.
Kythleen.

It'd make those of us who can't keep track of all the name variations out there super-extra-happy...:)
