Make MUTTER language-specific. 12/07/2008 10:00 PM CST
Silvanthe says in Ilithic, "Our borders stretch along the Dragon Priest lands."

You ask in Ilithic, "Into the Dwarven province?"

*You mutter into the air something about dwarves.*

You snort, loudly.

It would be cool if MUTTER took into account the language you are speaking. I don't like the fact that my character was having a conversation in Ilithic and all of a sudden he's speaking Common just because he makes a snide comment and does so in a sort of half-muttering, under-the-breath way. It's very jarring.

The red-bellied turtle hisses, "slander and hunt me if ye will but good prevails in the end your evil ways shall not be tolerated in these realms for long and ye heart is faint compared to the righteousness that dwells within mine" - Argotheo's turtle

The only way I could see this working is like so:

Non Elves:
Player mutters something in Ilithic.

Elves:
Player mutters into the air something about dwarves.

Coding in word-for-word would just be a no.. but doing it like this likely could work, and hopefully wouldn't be too hard to do.

I second this. It's a good idea.
