I wrote a script for the Genie client that helps with roleplaying a poker game!

Save that pastebin as "poker.cmd" and put it in your scripts folder. To start it, type ".poker name1 name2 name3 name4 name5" where "name1" is a player's full name. It needs at least 2 players. It requires the Familiar window to be open to keep track of cards for the dealer, but everyone else will see you ACT out the distribution of cards. The dealer whispers the cards to the players so only they and the dealer know what they have.

It uses the random function in Genie instead of the random command in DR, which takes 2 seconds. So its faster and doesn't send any information to the OOC window!

If anyone wants to try to re-write it for Stormfront, that would be amazing. The more people able to play this, the better.

I don't actually understand the rules of the game, so everything else wil have to be roleplayed out, with the betting and winning and losing and calling people out as cheaters and shooting everyone at the table with crossbows. Have fun!
