So my buddy Hendursar falls in the grendel area, and I go to rescue him. I can stand toe to toe with the little buggers long enough to drag my friend out, but it seems as soon as someone gwethed Hend's location, Navak went to assist as well.
[Northeast Wilds, Fields]
A sea of multi-hued grasses rises and falls all around. From the deep greens of serrated seregrass to the tawny spun gold of common stalks, the panorama of color is incredible to consider, the palette of a crazed and yet highly imaginative painter. You also see a heavy-bladed scimitar, a war club, and a war club.
Also here: the body of Hendursar who is lying down.
Obvious paths: north, east, southeast.
You hear the ghostly voice of Hendursar say, "Hey Maxx"
A small grendel waddles in, grunting to itself.
The small grendel begins to advance on you!
The small grendel is still a distance away from you and is closing steadily.
Navak comes out of hiding.
Navak gets a fat turnip from inside his leather baldric.
Navak throws his fat turnip at a small grendel's chest, clocking it with a savage hit that shatters its sternum into thousands of tiny slivers.
The fat turnip falls to the ground!
A small grendel grunts and collapses.
So thank you Navak! I usually dislike even hunting, but the sight of critters being slain by vegetables amused me greatly.
