Striderr -- If it makes ya feel any better, when I first started playing I thought of you as a hero. Even read your book. But then you disappeared for a long time. Well, actually so did I. I also remember a meeting you held in Crossing in the treehouse near the copse. I was there with some friends and as things dwindled down I seem to remember a certain ranga taking off his shirt and swinging it around. LOL! Thanks Lor,

Yeah sometimes I really wish I had the time to play as much as when I was younger, I was so involved, honestly though I just needed to step back and let a whole new generation of players carry the torch. I hardly get involved in events anymore or hosting stuff even though I love it. I think maybe I might do an update of my book in the library but I don't know, I will admit I lost alot of the drive that made me play DR, I also think the infamous log and all of the teasing I got before I got over it contributed to this losing of intrest. Alot of people in DR are real jerks, luckily the majority are great people who I feel honored to have spent time with.

So that's me in a nutshell, in a sense I try to play to the whole rumor of what I am even though if most knew me they'd know it's not true. I just really want to have fun and I'm content to being the small fish in a big pond rather than the big fish in a fishtank.

Thank you once more for your kind words, it's good to know there are people out there who like me. :)

NEIGH!

Dude, you know I'm just joshin' ya. You took the jabs with class, I respect that. Now whenever I do it, its just to try to get Dulci to giggle. It is my never-ending quest. :(

Eh I don't mind it anymore,

When it happened it was embarassing but whatever you take what life gives you in Stride so to speak.. heh.

I do wish I could devote the time I once did to this game but I guess the same fire and desire isn't there, right now when I get home I think to myself... do I really want to go on or would I rather go out to a club or bar with my friends?

I miss the people here I really do, I think part of the reason DR has such loyal customers is the fact that there are some really great people here who make the experience rewarding. That's always been it for me, and that's who I think the real heroes are.

As for you Korsik, I really don't mind if you tease me, it's all in good fun, I still remember us and our feud when we were little. Who'd have thought we'd both still be here this long huh? I think the realms need a little spice, and you stray more on the line of spice rather than griefer.

Also, Dulcinia? I'll be your Stallion whenever you want -chuckles-

P.S Dulcinia has giggled, however it was due to GM trickery! They Tricksy I say!

Striderr - I don't know anything about any infamous log. I just remember you always having the time for younger rangers. Those days were definitely different. Seems we had more rangerly type events, outside of GM planned events. I miss the old rangerly ways. ::sigh:: Could be I haven't met the right rangas yet.

A lawyer taking a deposition of a medical examiner (really happened):

Lawyer - So, before you started the autopsy, was the victim dead?
Medical Examiner - Yes.
Lawyer - Did you check for a pulse?
Medical Examiner - No.
Lawyer - Did you check to see if he was breathing?
Medical Examiner - No.
Lawyer - Then how do you know he was dead?
Medical Examiner - Because his brain was sitting in a jar in my office. Of course I could have been wrong. He could have been an attorney, in which case he is probably practicing law even as we speak today.

I got that forward the other day and just about died laughing. My favorite one was this:

> Q: Do you recall the time that you examined the body?
> A: The autopsy started around 8:30 p.m.
> Q: And Mr. Dennington was dead at the time?
> A: No, he was sitting on the table wondering why I was doing an autopsy.

Hey Dulcinia - I think I've heard that one before too. Wasn't there a list of these excerpts from deposition testimony being circulated via email? I'm sorta out of the legal loop these days, prefering to review cases at home. ;)
