Judging a Hero 01/13/2004 11:58 AM CST
Alright, here's a question thrown out to everyone. I'm unsure if this has been asked before, but its generally an opinion question.

What makes a hero in your eyes in Dragonrealms?

And to make sure everyone is on the same page with the definition... Lets use this one.
"An object of extreme admiration and devotion."

Although if anyone has a different definition, please pitch it in and explain your views?

By this, I'm hoping to figure out some common traits and ideas from people.

To me, a real hero is someone that builds a bar in the Inn that they own or run.

Give me a bit, and I'll come up with a solid dissertation on this.

Let's just say that the force of the hero is the ability to inspire hope. I'll go more into this after my classes... probably this weekened... maybe...

Trantris says, "Save the oratory for the enemy, Poetus. It just might be our only hope."

One man's hero is another man's villain. It's all in the story-telling.
