The bounty on Aedem is considerably higher assuming killing him may likely lead to the rescue of Keresyk. Pretty sure the rescue of Keresyk is now worth 6000 plats.
Just as a reference, have you considered trying to take him in alive? Get a Cleric to keep a constant Huldah's Pall on him, I forget if he's a mage or not. Strip him of his weapons, etc. Alive might fetch quite a reward in comparison to dead. Sigils to unbend inviso and moonbeams.. goodness, I love logic.
